Make-up Tips For A Warm Season
Make-up and beauty have been associated with females since ages. According, to many narrators from the history, it originated from Egypt. This is the reason why Cleopatra is considered to be the inventor of cosmetics, especially kohl. Today, it has a new face. With more awareness of protecting your skin from synthetic products, many women have begun turning to Mineral cosmetics. Mineral makeup uses more of organic products which are less dangerous to your skin. No matter what is the evolution of make-up, we know all women like it and living without it wouldn’t be very simple!
With the changing seasons, trends may alter overall. The attire, the shoes, the hairdos and the cosmetics are all going to change a little. When it hot outdoors, it is all about keeping yourself cool and still managing to look breath taking! A cool and a hot combo!
During the warmer months, make use of a lighter base so that the heat does not wear off the base as soon as you leave the house. In warmer weather, emphasize on keeping your skin shining. You can do this by smearing a light shimmering powder on your face and avoid heavy bases. A lot of people do not think it is wise to use a moisturizer in summer. This is not true. You skin will need a moisturizer in summer too. If you are moving out in the sun, choose a moisturizer which has a high SPF protection.
The next major features are your eyes. If you are moving out for a daytime party, avoid using very heavy eye shades. Use highlighters on your upper eyelids below your eyebrow. As for the lower eyelid, use lighter colors. It is a good idea to add some sparkle to your eyes. You can do this by putting on some mascara that is again not too heavy. If it’s a beach party, you may wish to omit the mascara. For night gatherings, you may choose darker colors for your eyes. The smoky look will look best for summer night gatherings. Black or brown mascara will give an added charm to your eyes.
The cheeks are the next important thing! To enhance your cheeks you should use sheer pinks. It is a good idea to use soft shades of pink or brown to pad you cheeks. For afternoon parties,, put on the blush on the upper part of your cheeks near the cheek bones. As for the night gatherings, it would be a nice option to use a slight blush on your jaw line.
Lips should look very elusive. Make the maximum use of lip glosses with soft colors. Avoid using a dark lip line to line the lipstick. If you are using a matte lipstick, the best colors will be light brown and pinks. Also, bear in mind choose a lipstick color that complements your eye shadow. With a smoky eye shadow, use a lipstick that is hardly visible. Simply a lip balm will also be a good choice for this. If your eye shadow is somewhat lighter, you can also go for those showy pinks on your lips.
