There isn’t much out there on the social scene that is more nerve-wracking than the first date. If you have plucked up the courage to ask someone out and a first date has been arranged, the nerves and the stress that can accompany such an occasion can be unbearable.

Perhaps the best piece of advice that can be given is that you must take great care to ensure that your personal grooming is up to scratch. Remember about those first impressions, and ensure you look clean and presentable to the person you are meeting up with. You never know, one day you could meet their parents.
