Has It All Gone Too Far?

There have been 10 deaths of British soldiers in Afghanistan so far this year, bringing the total up to 358 since the war started there in October 01. The most recent soldier to pass away was Lance Corporal Liam Tasker, who was killed by a Taliban sniper attempting to assassinate his bomb sniffer dog Theo. The canine also died later from a seizure thought to have been induced from the shock of the shootings.

2009 was imagined to have been the deadliest yr in Afghanistan with 2010 following closely behind. Now the deaths in Afghanistan are much higher than the death rate in Iraq. The rate of deaths of British service men in Afghanistan is 4 fold that of their American allies and twice the rate of that’s officially classified as major combat.

We have also found that the death rate of UK soldiers is twice that of 2006, when they were described as being involved in the fiercest fighting since their involvement in Korea 50 years ago.  The United kingdom could anticipate at least as many military fatalities in 10 weeks in Afghanistan as in 20 weeks in 2006.

There’s also the quantity of individuals who ended up being injured which has increased over the past few years. The stats of people hurt fall in to 3 groups; The Noticas Numbers-which are by far the most serious, the People registered at field hospitals –which can range from the critical to the not so serious & lastly the individuals who have been evacuated via air. This might be because of critical injury or sickness like dysentery.

Would you prefer your kid to be in Afghanistan or play in your front garden? Well why not buy them some army outfits for kids. Army fancy dress is a great way to remind the individuals at home about the courageous individuals serving our country.
