Do you dread having to come up with gift ideas for your spouse, child, parent or good friend? I find that I do a lot and even though you want to find them something cool and pleasurable, in most cases you don’t have any good ideas and you end up buying them a gift card. Wow, that’s fun!

So here’s an idea, what about stunt kites? You may be asking yourself, what is a stunt kite? Many people when they think of kites think about the kites they had when they were a kid; a triangle shaped kite made of paper or plastic that had a long tail. You run around trying to get them up in the air and then the kite just sits there flying high in the air. Not much fun.

However, stunt kites are completely different. Stunt kites have two separate lines that are connected to the kite and the length of the line isn’t that long. That is, they don’t go very high, but what they do will amaze you. Because there are two lines attached to the stunt kite, it permits you to really control the movement of the kite. Pull on the right line and the kite goes right, pull on the left line and the kite goes left. Using pulls right and left and you can make the kite do incredible tricks and maneuvers.

If you know somebody who has a little room to fly a kite; a field, a local park, the coast, etc. they have the ideal place to fly a stunt kite. The great news is that there is not a need of a lot of wind to fly these stunt kites. Wind that just blows a little bit is all you need.

Kites as a gift are fun because they can be used not only when the person is at home, but a great thing to take on a vacation or trip. If they are going to be traveling or are outdoors normally, then the stunt kits maybe the ultimate gift that somebody will actually say, hey that’s a great gift – thanks!
