4 Easy Decorating Tips For A Fabulous Cake

Some easy decorating tips for a fabulous cake include the following: the puffy and fuzzy technique, tropical palm tree style, mud and worms decorations, and flowerpot illusion.

Any type of cake, whether decorated plainly or extravagantly, will always be the main feature of any occasion. However, not all beautiful cakes need complex procedures; you just need a tiny amount of skill to make them. The following are several simple cakes that look remarkable.

Puffy and fuzzy technique

Go to the grocery store and buy a regular cake. Then, spread white icing all around the cake. Get an ordinary neat plastic bag, fill it up with the same white topping and squeeze it unto one of the plastic bag’s bottom corners. Using a sharp pair of scissors, cut off approximately 1/4 inch of the end where the squeezed icing is so that you can create a pastry bag. Begin squeezing small drops of icing onto the top of the cake and all over it. Keep on doing this until you cover the entire cake with these pointed drops. Now you have a cake that is airy-looking, puffy and fuzzy, and will fit all birthday party ideas or any other wonderful event.

Tropical palm tree design

Create a cake with a tropical theme with store-bought icing and a cake pan that is shaped like a palm tree. You can obtain this pan at cake stores that are both online and in your city, in gourmet shops, as well as in craft stores. Prepare and make an ordinary cake utilizing the palm tree-shaped baking pan. Then create the green leaves of the palm with icing that’s been colored green. To create green icing, you simply have to mix about 2-4 drops of green food coloring with a small can of the vanilla icing. Add drops of food coloring one at a time until you have just the correct hue that you want. Then mix two drops of red food coloring and 2 drops of purple food coloring into a small amount of vanilla topping to produce the brown icing you will use for the trunk of the palm tree. Frost your palm tree cake and place it on a plate that is outlined with palm fronds.

Dirt and worms decorations

Bake a cake, or buy an ordinary one from the store that is already baked, and spread brown topping on top of it. Make brown icing by coloring vanilla icing with two drops of red food coloring and 2 drops of purple food coloring and carefully mixing them together. Then crush about 2 cups of chocolate wafers and sprinkle them atop the cake. Decorate the top of the cake with gummy worms that are shoved partly into the cake so it will seem like the worms are squirming their way out of the cake.

Flowerpot illusion

Another easy cake you can make that not only looks complicated but is also extraordinary is a flowerpot cake. Buy a good size clay flowerpot of your choice that is not painted on the inside and clean it meticulously. Edge the interior with foil and also place a big straw upright and in the center of the flowerpot. Next, add slices of cake inside the flowerpot until you reach about two and half inches from the top of the flowerpot, ensuring that the straw remains straight and in the center. Add about 2 inches of sorbet and sprinkle the top with crushed Oreo cookies. Clip the straw level with the top most layer of the cake and freeze the whole thing for a few hours. Before giving the cake, cut a fresh flower and put it into the straw inside the cake.

A decorated cake, no matter how simple or ordinary it may seem, will always be appreciated by the recipient because it is a labor of love.
